Network Marketing Training| Which are you, a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Today's Network Marketing Training is based on a story:

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how her new Network Marketing business was so hard. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as soon as one problem was solved, a new one arose. She wanted to give up.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, “What does it mean, Mother?"

Her Mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity – hot boiling water. Each reacted differently.

The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.

The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"

Think of this: WHICH ARE YOU?

How do you handle adversities in Network Marketing? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Are you the carrot that seems strong, but with adversity do you wilt and become soft and lose your strength?

Are you the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Has your fluid spirit become hardened and stiff? From the outside your shell looks the same but on the inside have you become bitter, negative and smelly?

Or are you like the coffee bean? The bean actually changed the hot water. The hot water is the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. Are you are like the bean, when things are at their worst; you get better and change the situation around you?

Once you develop Network Marketing skills and understand what you need to do to be successful, it's just a matter of taking action. Just like the coffee bean changed the hot water and released its fragrance for others to enjoy, you can change people's lives for the better.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you successful.

It just seems so archaic and ineffective anymore when people are bombarded with spam solicitations.

• According to research conducted by the Direct Marketing Association, email marketing generated an ROI of $57.25 for every dollar spent on it in 2005. As such, it outperformed all the other direct marketing channels examined, such as print catalogs.

• A report in mid-2005 from JupiterResearch was more conservative, stating that..."when done right, $1 spent on e-mail can generate a $9 return."

Email marketing generates immediate action: downloads, inquiries, registrations, etc. Informative email newsletters and other emails build awareness, contribute to branding, strengthen relationships, encourage trust and cement loyalty. All in all, email marketing is a pretty good way of going about marketing your business when they are crafted correctly.


10 Simple Tips To Build Your Email List

1. Provide an Insider’s Sneak Peak:
Show potential subscribers a sample of exactly what they will receive in their inbox. This gives people the opportunity to see if you are a “good fit” for them risk-free and in return you’ll gain more qualified leads this way.

2. Ask for the Bare Essentials:
Don’t go overboard asking for information not really needed. The first objective is to get a person to join the list. You can always request more information later as the trust and relationship are built.

3. Give An Instant Bonus Offer:
Give your subscribers incentive to want to join your email list. Offer a free report or an e-book that is delivered to them instantly after subscribing to your email list.

4. Personalize It:
When possible get the first and last name of your subscribers so you can later address them by name in the subject header and/or the body of the email. People like to receive personalized emails because it doesn’t imply a mass email distribution. Words of warning though, use personalization sparingly otherwise it comes across too contrived.

5. Keep Content Relevant:
In the subscriber’s mind, you have to be known for sending high-quality information; otherwise, you will get the old delete button or worse yet be a victim of the unsubscribe click.

6. Avoid Burning The Midnight Oil:
Send your email campaigns during the daytime hours. Marketing emails sent out overnight can get lost in the morning routine clutter.

7. Make It An Easy Read:
Use bullet points and short concise paragraphs. Put lots of “air” or white space around your information. It should be easy to scan and inviting. Nobody has time in their business schedule to read a novel so make sure that your email does not look like chapter 3 in a Stephen King book.

8. Place the Nugget of Gold at the Top of the Email:
Remember, many people don’t scroll. This means you need to pull your best content or a list of your article headlines up into the “first screen”, “above the fold.” This gives your subscriber’s the teaser to dig deeper into your email.

9. Everybody Love FREE Except For Spam Filters:
Don’t use the word “Free” in your copy too often or at all. Spam filters hate that word and often prevent your message from being delivered. If you must use “Free”, embed the word in a graphic because the spam filters cannot read words embedded in graphics or use it VERY sparingly and never in the subject of your email.

10. Be Yourself:
Develop a distinctive tone and personality in your newsletters. But beware; watch how much you talk about yourself. Your subscribers really don’t care that you're a self-made millionaire that studied the formation and impact of algae in some remote South American island. They are there for information, so give it to them.

Great lists aren’t built in a day but email marketing can be very powerful. Both list building and subscriber loyalty takes time…but when you cultivate it wisely, you build relationships, establish loyalty and ultimately grow your business.

Biz Opportunity Seeker | How to acquire wealth

Are you a Biz Opportunity Seeker wondering how to acquire wealth? Have you ever met someone who has all the money they wish for, along with all the time to do the things they’d like to do? Have you wondered how they acquired that wealth?

Paris Hilton, OK she never did anything, but her father did, and because of his wise business choices she now lives the life only a spoiled child could! Hopefully you get the point.

Linear income stops when you stop working, recurring income continues on indefinitely after you do the work right one time.

Starting an Internet Home Base Biz on a shoe string budget is a dream come true for many folks. Unlike small business where you invest thousands of dollars to get your business going, there are opportunities available with low start up costs.

If you are like most folks, you will choose a “Best Business Opportunity” presented to you without knowing all the facts.

Everyone tells you that they are the best. They may even get you all jacked up with hype and lies. Have you heard them say ‘you can make one million dollars in one week?’

My purpose today is to teach you how to find the “Best Business Opportunity” for you. It is all about YOU.

After all, you do not want to waste your hard earned money and pull your hair out afterward.

Most folks want to know 3 things about a business opportunity.

1. What do I have to do?

2. How much money can I make?

3. Can I do it and will you help me?

Once you get your 3 questions answered, go and research the company.

In my opinion, the Best Business Opportunity is a company that is at least 3 years old and has not been exposed to thousands and thousands of people.

It is a company that has long term plans, has management experience and maintains integrity.

It is easy to find out if the “Best Business Opportunity” has integrity ’cause they tell you! That’s right, it is right there in black and white. Where? In the policies and procedures section.

Please read this legal contract. You have to follow the rules…if you do not, you will be punished and possibly loose your business. Watch out for phrases such as “ongoing” or “continuous” because that means you can NEVER retire. Stay away from statements that say “xyz company reserves the right to terminate you with or without reason at the sole discretion of the company”

Equally important is having a mentor to guide you as you begin your business...someone who matches your personality and can help you along the way.

So, get educated before investing your hard earned money in a self proclaimed “best opportunity.” It will save you years of frustration and failure.

Make sure your mentor uses up-to-date training. Training that includes the art of listen and communication skills, marketing skills and leadership training.

In closing, there is a science behind choosing a business opportunity that will work for you. I believe you should get the appropriate training before you even consider joining a business venture.
