MLM Success - More Motivation?
Motivation is highly overrated as the ALL important ingredient for MLM success. Yet an unmotivated person will not make out of first base.
Just as motivation is part of the equation so are skills training.
Let me explain.
Maybe you were motivated at one time but in time your enthusiasm faded.
One reason maybe because you are not getting the results you desire for MLM success.
Do you think you would be motivated when you sponsor 5 new people every week?
Do you think you would be motivated when you reach into your mailbox and find a paycheck from your MLM Company?
Why is growth not happening within your MLM organization? Where is the MLM success you once dream of?
Maybe the problem “lack of motivation" is actually an issue of developing skills.
Let me illustrate with a scenario:
You are sitting calmly in your sit as the 747 gracefully flies through the air. The pilot unexpectedly passes out and everyone on board voted you, yes you to handle the situation.
You are in charge of flying the plane!
This is a challenge because you never flow a plane before.
You can set goals.
You can have a biggest WHY in the world.
You can tell yourself I will land the plane safely.
Your motivation is high because you don't want to die.
And you even have an attitude of gratitude!
But what is going to happen when touch down time comes?
You are going to crash unless you learn the skills of flying.
In Network Marketing, you will need skills such as;
*Communication skills- how to talk with people effectively. It's about being polite and allowing others to make-up their mind.
*Listening skills- know when the appropriate time to bring up your opportunity and when to keep silent.
*Marketing Skills-how to market your product, how to generate targeted leads.
And than when you get leads, skills on what to say to break the ice.

Network Marketing Success: Overcoming Obstacles
Many obstacles face network marketers today, but by overcoming these obstacles, you pave the way for network marketing success and leadership.
Are you facing giants?
Giants have many faces and can take different forms for different people.
One giant may take the form of a lack of resources. You may not have the finances, connections, training, or opportunities you need.
A giant may be an opposing individual, perhaps a significant other that actively works against you. It is not easy to stand up to those about whom we love and care.
A giant may be an intimidating circumstance. This is a situation that is beyond your control, for example, you may think that you are too young or too old, or perhaps you stutter.
A giant may be something that removes you from your comfort zone. Perhaps you have never done network marketing before. This is new adventure that requires different skills from those developed in your previous occupation.
A giant could take the form of a series of unexpected trails, delays, or setbacks, and disappointment has set in.
The biggest giant of all is disbelief. Disbelief is much more dangerous to you than any other giant. The struggle is within yourself—your own inner dialogue and your own set of beliefs.
Why do we have to face giants?
Giants are there as primary growing opportunities. The experience may be painful, but it is the result of the experience that counts. The experience has happened for an important reason: to reshape you from the inside out—think of it as training for Greatness. It is an invaluable season of preparation. Do not buy into the lie that “it’s too hard” or “it takes too long” or “it’s not possible.”
Did you know that the single best way to develop into a leader is to take yourself out of your safe environment, away from the people you know, and to place yourself in a new area such as network marketing? If you feel you are in way over your head, have demanding challenges, tons of pressure, and face the risk of failure or loss, then it is more likely that you will emerge a dynamic leader. Be encouraged. For every problem, there is a solution. For every window that closes, a door will open. Take courage . . . even when you feel afraid.
So, fellow network marketer, is there a giant rising before you right now? Mr., Mrs., or Miss Warrior, isn’t it time to fight back? Reach for your destination now, with all your heart. Make your crossing, for a wonderful future is waiting.

Network Marketing - Affirmation
Affirmation in Network Marketing is something that should be said everyday. Recently, a friend shared this one with me. It is powerful and inspiring. Thank you, Charles.

"Wow, what a great day to be alive. I feel dynamite, I like me! I accept me!! I love me!!! I am going to have a super fantastic day today because, I am too blessed to be depressed. I am too blessed to be stressed, too glad to be sad and I am too anointed to be disappointed.
Circumstances are aligning themselves in my favor. I am healthy, physically fit, and intelectually equipped. I have wisdom far beyond my years. I am an extraordinary person with incredible abilities, which I will use to add value to other people lives knowing that as I help other people reach their goals I will reach my own.
I anticipate meeting the person or group of people today, who are willing to use their power, wealth, and influence to help me achieve my dreams. All day long people will go out of their way to bless me. Today I will add great value to someone's life, I will show compassion to those in need, I will give strength to the week, and inspiration to the weary. Someone needs what I have to offer and I gladly make myself available!
I embrace abundance and it embraces me. I am abundant in every good way. I am an abundance magnet. I like money and it likes me, it is attracted to me. It comes abundantly from many sources. I use my money wisely, it is a tool to help those in need.
I am experiencing great victories, supernatural turnarounds, and miraculous turnaround in the midst of great impossibilities. I am an overcomer! If my mountain can't be removed, I will develop and practice my mountain climbing skills. I may experience a setback, but setbacks are only setups for comebacks. Setbacks pave the way for comebacks. I'll make lemonade out of life's lemons, and if life knocks me down, I will fall on my back realizing, that as long as I can look up, I can get up!
I commit to paying for my dreams so that I wont have to live with my nightmares. I do not procrastinate, because procrastination leads to devastation, it is the assassination of my destination, thus I will act now. I am a doer, I get results that last. I now release the champion that is inside of me. I am the leader that many people are looking for. I choose to succeed today, and everyday hereafter. Watch out world, here I come!!!"

Network Marketing Tip: Self-Talk
Self-talk in network marketing is a powerful tool, which you can use to go from where you are now to where you want to be.
What do you tell yourself every day?
Having negative thoughts can stop you from living your dream; being negative can drain a great deal of your energy. Imagine that you had an “invisible friend” who went around with you all day, every day, and was constantly whispering negative comments in your ear! How would you feel by the end of the day? What kind of friend would he be?
As human beings, we record thoughts and emotions—every emotional thought leaves a recording in our brain. Interestingly, we do not record what is happening, but rather what we think is happening. It takes a mass of thoughts to develop our self-image. Other people can influence how we feel about ourselves, but it does not become part of who we are until we accept it as our own belief.
What is your opinion of yourself?
Every statement you make to yourself has an effect on your mind, so be careful what you say. Words are powerful. If you choose, you can change your opinion of yourself. You can use self-talk and create the new image you desire.
So, what is it that you want from your network marketing business? If you cannot describe it, you cannot get it.
Start by knowing where you want to go, and begin to talk to yourself about it. In your mind, paint a picture of what you want. Use all of your senses: see, hear, feel, taste, and touch it. Does it evoke an emotional response?
Pay attention to what you think. Take note: it takes about twenty positive statements about oneself to counteract even one personal negative statement. You do not have to react to negative thoughts your mind may present to you. You can do what you have always done, or you can choose to do something different.
As you move toward your painted picture, keep your mind focused on what you want and not on what you do not want. Going through a mental cleanse will be beneficial: turn off the television and radio, and stop listening to the news for awhile. Instead, spend daily time with an inspiring book, such as the Bible, which is filled with many wonderful promises and is a wise teacher. One favorite verse of mine is “commit our ways unto the Lord, trusting in Him, and He will bring it to pass.” We are not totally self-sufficient. Without God, we can do nothing.
Snapping out of negativity
Creating a mental picture, self-talk, that evokes emotion will produce a mighty conviction, and that belief is a powerful force. When your feelings are positive and your heart is full of joy, actions will follow.
The way you manage yourself in what you choose to think will determine the level of success you experience both in life and with your network marketing business. Tapping into inspiration and determination coupled with skills will aid you in realizing your desires in life, and clearing your mind of negativity will start you on the road to achieving your dreams.
Your mind can only hold one thought at a time, so make it a quality thought.

Network Marketing and Your Belief System
Are your thoughts stopping you from having success in Network Marketing?
Thoughts are made up of our belief system. We choose and form judgments based on
beliefs we have collected over the years. We have attitudes, ideas and opinions of ourselves and others. We have been conditioned to think and act a certain way.
All our life experiences have led us to believe certain things. Whether these things are true or not, to our brain it really does not matter. If we accept the idea as truth than for us it is truth.
The challenge is to dig in your heels and ask yourself ‘what do you belief and why?’
Pick yourself apart. Is it truth? Question your belief system.
For instance, perhaps as a child you where told you will amount to nothing. Believing someone else’s opinion can jeopardize your success in life.
On the other hand, right thinking is based on truth. The truth is God did not make junk. You are an important person. Accepting this truth will put you on the right path and you will literally act out the new you.
Our success and struggle in life depends on how we think. Life begins in our mind and with our thought patterns. Believing in the truth will indeed set one free.
Believing the truth means not blaming someone or something outside of ourselves. It means accepting oneself in a new way.
What and how we think is so important in the Network Marketing business. Having a correct thought process is the beginning formula for big success.
The starting point of making permanent changes in your belief system begins with asking yourself what you believe and why you believe what you do. Take a good look at your own belief system.
Being on a mental cleanse will help you go beyond positive or negaitive thinking to right thinking.
It's all about choices. You can make choices and change your wrong thinking to right thinking. And when your deepest inner belief is correct your mind will filter out information. Then your mind can take the ideas and turn them into real results.

New Year Resolutions for the Network Marketing
Where did the year go and what did you accomplished in your Network Marketing Business?
It is 2006. A new year is beginning. Network Marketers can use this time to reflect on the past, evaluate the present and plan for the future.
It can be a chance to evaluate where you are, and where you want to be in the year ahead.
Many Network Marketers set goals for the coming year.
I would like to suggest before you write down your goals for 2006, ask yourself ‘do I have an “I Can” attitude?’
Your attitude can be your best friend or your worse enemy.
An “I Can” attitude is powerful and invigorating. Starting today, if you want to change where you are, change your attitude.
Begin by changing what you think and what you say. You can choose to leave behind the old ugly feelings or any thing else you do not want in your life. You can choose to change and replace those feeling with new up lifting ones like patience and confidence.
An “I Can” attitude can be the difference between the person who accomplishes and the person that does not.
The other choice you have is to continue to do what you have always done. But remember you will continue to get what you always have gotten.
So to change your rewards in life, you must have an "I Can" attitude.
After all, when it is all said and done, it is really up to you. The only change that really matters is a change of heart.
Life is precious so enjoy it every step of the way.
